Thailands former world champion of doping after it was discovered she ate meat Ratchanok Intanon has been cleared.
The 24-year-old ex-world number one was billed with an anti-doping rule violation in May.
But she proved shed eaten meat infected with clenbuterol – a drug that increases muscle mass and decreases body fat.
The Badminton World Federation stated that she boreno fault or negligence.
Thus no period of ineligibility has been levied on her, the governing body said in a statement.
Clenbuterol was discovered in eight other samples obtained from the barbecue restaurant in which Intanon had consumed.
Currently ranked five Intanon won bronze in the World Championships in Basel, Switzerland, in August.
After getting a ban following a positive test for a corticosteroid, she had been cleared to compete at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
It was blamed by her team to get a knee injury, along with the BWF found no violation had been committed.
